Bravella AI Assistant Privacy Policy

Bravella Health Inc. (“Bravella”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a company providing a and web-based application (the “App”) that utilizes large language model (LLM) technology to offer informational and entertainment content related to health and wellness topics, with a focus on women’s health and wellness, perimenopause and menopause (the “Services”). The App is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or any professional healthcare services. No healthcare professionals are involved in generating responses through the App.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise manage personal information in connection with your use of the App and Services. It should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service. By accessing or using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable Canadian laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, provincial privacy laws such as Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA). However, as the App does not provide healthcare services and is not a health information custodian under PHIPA, we advise you not to share any personal health information (PHI) through the App. Any PHI shared is at your own risk, and we do not treat such information as protected health information.

Using and Disclosing Personal Information

We use and disclose personal information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and as permitted by law. Key uses include:

  • Providing and personalizing the Services based on your queries.
  • Storing and analyzing all queries and interactions to train and improve the LLM, algorithms, and overall product. This may involve de-identifying data for aggregation and analysis.
  • Conducting internal research, analytics, and quality improvement to enhance user experience.
  • Communicating with you about the App, updates, or promotions.
  • Complying with legal obligations.

We may disclose personal information to third parties in limited circumstances:

  • De-Identified Data: We may de-identify and aggregate data for research, licensing, or for product integration with third parties. De-identification follows best practices to remove identifiable elements.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration but may use it for LLM training and product improvement, which may indirectly benefit third-party technologies integrated into the App.

Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal compliance. Query and usage data may be retained indefinitely for LLM training and improvement, unless you request deletion (subject to legal obligations). Technical data is typically retained for shorter periods unless needed for security or functionality.

Upon account deletion or termination, we will delete or de-identify your data, except where retention is required for legal reasons.

Transferring Personal Information

Your personal information may be transferred to and stored on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where data protection laws may differ. We ensure appropriate safeguards, such as contractual clauses, are in place with processors to protect your data in accordance with Canadian standards.

Securing Personal Information

We implement reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, no system is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You transmit information at your own risk.
