Are you a perfectionist?
Here’s the secret about perfectionism: it’s about fear. Fear of rejection, criticism, and failure. Perfectionism is all about control because it assumes the world is all-or-nothing![2]
Fear and control are not the best tools to help you navigate being a parent though. As humans, we are physiologically unable to exist in a space of fear AND grow our connections and relationships at the same time! Hyper focusing on being the “perfect” parent takes your time and mental energy away from the people who care about you most, like your partner and child(ren).[1]
And here’s the thing we’ve learned about parenthood: It is inherently unpredictable and imperfect!
At Vital Physiotherapy & Wellness, we support you in being your best self! We know that you are perfect just the way you are, and your baby knows it too! We are here to empower you to take care of yourself so that you can be there for the people you love with your whole mind and heart!
Book your postpartum visit with your Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist ahead of time and thank yourself later!
