A weak pelvic floor is NOT the only reason why you’re leaking.[1]
Our client is an active woman in her 60s who came to us because she was experiencing urinary leakage. She had seen so many specialists to get the help that she needed, but she was overwhelmed because no matter what, nothing worked to stop her leaking. She thought that she would have to live the rest of her life wearing adult diapers.
She struggled with doing her favourite exercises and activities because her leaking always got in the way. She was embarrassed to go on walks with her walking group, and to go workout at the gym.
She was missing out on her favourite activities, not able to enjoy her life to the fullest, and this was significantly lowering her quality of life.
So, what did we do for her?
When she came in to see us at Vital, we knew she needed more than just pelvic health physiotherapy and exercises. She needed accountability and support.
We introduced her to Vital’s LeakLess Method, and that is exactly what she got. We taught her how to optimize her breathing so that her nervous system would be more relaxed.[2] We taught her what exercises she need to do that would actually be helpful for her. We gave her the group accountability to help ensure that she was staying on track and reaching her goals.[3]
Now, the end result may surprise you…
After just a few sessions inside Vital’s LeakLess Method, she stopped her leaking.
Now, she could rejoin her walking group AND exercise at the gym without the fear of an unexpected and embarrassing leak.
She NEVER would have been able to do this had she not learned exactly what SHE needed to do to support her body to stop her leaking.
When it comes to leaking, it’s not JUST about pelvic floor exercises alone. Sometimes it’s about the accountability, the support, and the knowledge of what you SHOULD be doing to help all of your muscles work together in your own personal system.[3,4]
The results don’t lie!
It’s time to take back control over your continence.
